Cora Nielson

Today was Cora Nielson's funeral. Reed Randall spoke and he shared a wonderful thought about how a simple life, well-lived, is truly heroic. [I'll get the quote and post it.] Got me thinking about my own life. We can't really influence the world in a big way... but we can influence our world, the Bowthorpe's World. In fact, we are the only ones who can make a difference in our world. When I die, I hope I have a few good friends, I hope I've done something good for several people, I hope I've honored my parents, I hope I have respected and loved Alyson, I hope that I would reach out and rescue someone if given the chance. That's how Cora lived, I would call hers a heroic life.
