"Thou shalt thank the Lord thy God in all things". "In nothing doth man offend God, or against none is his wrath kindled, save those who confess not his hand in all things. D&C 59:7,21
Last night we had our annual Gratitude dinner. I love this tradition and have all the past "ornaments" in a book with the things we are grateful for in our family.
Getting together for dinner, with each other, our grandparents and talking about the things that mean so much to us is one of my very favorite things!
Here are a few from this year-
Grandpa- good health, a good wife, no boat
Bryttin- a camera to capture events, kitchen aid mixer, being a stay at home mom
Bret- Erica, music, dogs and motorcycles (not dogs on motorcycles)
Bailey- Family and Friends, traveling, music and singing, new experiences
Erica- Bret, family, eternity
Grammy- loving husband, forgiving friends and family, good health, vanilla ice cream, wonderful grandchildren
Alyson_ Family being together, generations, Warm Autumn's that last until Nov., Fruit
Spence: family music, Alyson, Goodly parents and in laws
Jason- Bryttin and Lyvia, BAsketball and Utah Jazz, good food.
Lyvia- Pink Lovey, Books, going outside, banana's
Nana- family and friends, My basic needs are plentiful, contentment, energy to clean, garden, dance, sew and serve.
Brynn: school and third grade, cell phones to communicate, warm coats in Rexberg! (from her blog)
Check the book out for more of our gratitude lists next time you are home.
Thanks to my wonderful family. I love each of you.
