Christmas was interesting this year since we had to call downstairs and wake the girls up!!! Dad and I already had our showers and put our pj's back on. Finally they came up at 7:46 and we went down the hall for the ritual of turning on the music and the lights. I think everyone was happy about their gifts. Off to Grammy's for our traditional Christmas breakfast, complete with socks, strada, rolls, oraments and gifts. The cousins are all getting older...Bailey is the youngest one there! (Besides Lyvia and Ari- the great grandchildren) Talked to Paul on the phone for a few minutes - they are driving up on the weekend for a ski trip. After Grammy's the Jones' came over to open gifts.
We all took naps in the afternoon. Yes...it was great.
Then off to Nana's for leftovers and cousin gifts. David and Mary announced that their adoption finally went through and they will be getting a 4 year old little girl - Ting, sometime in the next 5 months. Exciting for them.
The snow storm finally hit and we trudged home carefully and played "hand and foot" but we didn't now how to score it so we just played the game and went to bed.
Fun Christmas. Thanks to all for a memorable day.
We love you and count our blessings that we belong to the same family!
Love ya Mom
